Always good for a laugh

Each and every day is a gift when one of my ladies smiles, but when there is a deep down authentic laugh, the day just seems that much better. Nothing can replace the endorphin rush that a person gets by laughing. It is just downright good for the heart and soul.

Yesterday Stella and I were sitting at her table recalling the good ole’ days and some of her stories also made me laugh. If only the rest of the world could enjoy these folks and learn from them the way that I am able to do. There is something said about age.

On the weekends I am always happy to spend time with my boys and my animals, but I am contemplative about what my other friends, my elderly friends are doing. I wonder if they think about me as I do them. I wonder if they are thinking of ways that we can laugh together once we meet up again.

Laughing helps pass the day. It also helps an individual to strengthen their immune system, boosts energy, diminishes pain, and protects us from stress. It is another way to demonstrate that With Age Comes Respect!

I plan to laugh and play with my elders each and every day that I am able to do so. Both our lives will be much more enjoyable that way!
