Back and in action

Today was a blessed day as I not only got to spend time with my ladies once again, but I was able to meet Stella’s beloved son. I can see why she loves him so much; he is a blessing to her and his sisters.

Carl, named after his father, the love of Stella’s life, came to Carol Stream

from downstate Illinois so that he could help his sisters fix some things around Stella’s house (after awhile things just tend to wear out – I know, my house has the same issues!). Stella was so looking forward to his visit. It just reminds me that I will one day feel the same way that she is feeling right now.

There is a special bond between a mother and her sons. Daddies and daughters have that same type of kinship. It is just a blessing to witness the love first hand from a caregiver’s perspective.

While I always crave to take care of my commissioned patients, it is thoroughly enjoyable to meet family members so that I get a better feel for the entire family situation. It is a wonderment to see the love and admiration that the families of my ladies have for them! They all understand that With Love Comes Respect. I am glad to be a part of that!
