Watching and waiting

Today work will be interesting and quick because I only have to work a couple of hours, there will be plenty of activity to look forward to and the hustle and bustle of Black Friday to pay attention to. It will be a great day that most people would typically resent, but one that I look forward to because I tend to enjoy the time as much as my seniors do. Perhaps that is because I realize that With Age Comes Respect.

I have had plenty of time over the past year and a half to analyze why it is that I have chosen to move away from the corporate world and toward serving the community at large. I realize that this is my purpose in life.

I don’t have to make a big wage or have exclusive things. I just want to share the immense amount of love that I have inside of me. I want to care for others the way that they deserve to be cared for.

So, today, on Black Friday, while everyone else is hustling and bustling about, I will be waiting and watching for laundry to be done, for baths to be taken and for meals to be eaten. I will be happy knowing that I am fulfilling my life’s purpose and doing so with a smile on my face!
