Finding Nemo

Today was such an enjoyable day which began with watching the movie Finding Nemo. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed that film until I could see it through the eyes of a loving senior. The color, the action and the silliness all made for a great start to this Friday.
Sometimes as busy, working adults, we tend to forget about the simple things in life. We tend to take each day too seriously. We forget what fun is like. It takes a day like today with a throwback movie to take us back to a happier time.
There are so many throwbacks to consider. Each time I read a children’s book, do a puzzle, put together paper dolls, build blocks, color and play cards, I am taken to a happier time. All of this then helps me go back time after time and show them that With Age Comes Respect.
Perhaps doing this business is my way of remembering the important things in life; the lessons that life teaches to each of us that are helpful but are lost somewhere along the way because life itself gets in the way. Just like the lesson that Finding Nemo teaches us, life has those same lessons. We just have to try and remember when life gets in our way!
