Easter day means more to elders

Even though holidays like Easter can promote confusion, love typically shines through. My clients have wonderful family members that ensure that they are included in festivities. The only issue is that the festivities not only confuse but tire my seniors so that the week ahead is more challenging due to their unrest.
Like Christ rising from the tomb, Easter gives my clients fresh perspective about another life; one that will be lived in Heaven and not on Earth. They sometimes contemplate this new life and depending on their belief perspective and their depression levels can either help them to feel better or worse about their situation in life.
I tend to lean toward positive changes when I speak to them about these matters of the mind and soul and see if I can draw from them their perspectives. Then I try to ease better thoughts in if negativity is what their depression is leaning towards.
For the seniors that have a fresh perspective and have Christ present in their hearts, days like today are more fulfilling than any other day in their existence. This is what I pray for for my clients!
Easter day brings with it joy and the fact we can look forward to a better life in the future; one without pain or agony; one that only presents us with love. Happy Easter to each and every one of my clients and their families! May God be with you all!
