Must deal with issues

There are some elders that are fabulous and some that are challenging to say the least. What I must keep in mind is the fact that there are so many issues that some elders have to deal with that they are crabby, demanding and unhappy besides.
At times, many elderly caregivers question whether what they are doing is the right thing. I never question that, I only question some of the clients I provide care for. I wonder if I am truly the right caregiver for them.
I know I am compassionate and kind, but when I am questioning my own integrity and comparing clients to my grandmother (who was less than kind to others), I wonder if I should allow the client to seek help elsewhere. I would hate to see them go, but my priority is ensuring that each client receives the very best treatment possible and if I am not making clients happy, then who am I to keep them in a position of constant unhappiness?
When you own your own elderly care business, there is always going to be someone that does not appreciate the service you provide for one reason or another. It is my intention that I correct these issues. After all, my main goal is to always show my clients that, no matter what, With Age Comes Respect.
