Caregiving needs be available seven days a week

Many times a weekend means absolutely nothing to elders that are lonely and depend on their elderly caregiver. If an errand needs to be run – whether or not it is a Saturday or a Sunday – if your elderly clients depend on you, you may just have to buck up, dig deep and do whatever it is that your client needs done.

Today was one of those days for me. I needed to pick up a garment that needed alterations, pack up some items for Christmas, and get some craft things around for a client. To show them just how much I care, I also baked them a fall goodie that they could enjoy until I arrive back at their home on Monday afternoon.

I do care. I do everything possible to show my clients each and every day, no matter what day of the week it is, that With Age Comes Respect.

Monday will start a whole new week of busyness; busyness that I am dedicated to and enjoy. For the rest of today and tomorrow, I will be concentrating on my home and my family members – showing them that they, too, have my respect and dedication.

What can I say, I just love everyone!
