Such joy comes from special memories

I have one specific client that just happens to love Christmas almost (maybe more) than I do! It is amazing that we are able to bond over this very special holiday and relive joyous memories by simply looking at specific Christmas ornaments and decorations. For the past three days, we have literally had a blast doing all of these things!

Even though many people believe that putting up a Christmas tree should come after Thanksgiving, I can guarantee that they have never been (and most likely never will be) an elderly caregiver. For when you want to show your clients that With Age Comes Respect in simple fashion, all you really have to do is put up a Christmas tree (for a client that loves this holiday anyway!).

If only you all could see the expression on her face when we actually got the tree up yesterday, and then again today when we got the lights on, the quilt under and some beads and ornaments on. It was literally priceless to me!

I find such joy in the smallest things that this service has to offer. I love it and the people I am able to serve. If only the rest of life could be as easy as making a room beautiful with lovely ornaments, paper, ribbons and bows!
