My poor dad deserves to have everyone show him that With Age Comes Respect, but more than that, he deserves to grow old gracefully – or at least with fewer issues than most because he has had to deal with so many health issues for so long now that he definitely deserves a break from the pain and discomfort of his everyday existence. I suppose many of the health conditions that he suffers from could be causing some of his current issues, but no one seems to be able to narrow down those same issues and the cause of them.
Since my eldest son, Reese, is studying to become a surgeon (although he is still about three semesters from achieving his undergraduate degree), I sometimes rely on him to make suggestions toward this issue. Then I try to follow it up with my very own research so that I can help alieve some of the doubt and distractions that may stand in the way of my dad’s health actually improving.
Just like with my clients, and probably even more so, I want to do everything humanly possible for both my dad and my mom. Mom’s physical health seems to be much better than dad’s physical health, but both are struggling on the emotional plane due to the untimely death of my younger brother.
As a caregiver to the masses, it is my goal to help get my parents’ lives back on track….before it may become too late!
