Let me tell you something about B12 vitamins

I have a client that is having a very difficult time taking B12 vitamin pills. This client actually compares them to cod liver oil; claiming nautiousness.

I can believe that this vitamin could make some people feel ill as I have actually had the very same issue with Fish Oil (Omega 3’s) since I am allergic to fish. Hoping against hope that my client is not allergic to B12, I decided that some research was in order.

What I am learning is that B12 is like a pathway to an array of metabolic, cellular processes. This unique vitamin has dissimilar structures and functions from other vitamins. B12 is not like most dietary nutrients in that it is not created by plants, animals and/or fungi.  According to Dr. Edward Group, bacteria in the gut can create B12, but even he is uncertain as to whether or not that production is adequate to support the energy basis that human bodies need. In fact, if people are delinquent of B12, the cellular function it helps to create would actually cease. The energy required would plummet.

The production of ATP (Adenosine triphosphate, or ATP for short, is the energy currency of life. ATP is a high-energy molecule found in every cell. Its job is to store and supply the cell with needed energy.) is in part due to B12. That is why the individuals that have very low energy levels often get B12 injections from their healthcare professionals. If a person does not eat meat, they may need this type of supplement. Even if a person does eat meat, this may certainly be possible.

I cannot believe all I learned that can already help my client. I do all this in order to show them that With Age Comes Respect.
