More taxes on the horizon – (Posted late on 02/21 from 02/13/2016)

I don’t recall whether or not I mentioned in previous posts the fact that my last year’s client files were destroyed by the cheap laptop I purchased at Target. The darn thing did not have an internal hard drive (which at the time I thought would be just fine because I had not one but two external hard drives that I felt would suffice). The issue came when this computer started bugging out on me and fried both hard drives!

This became a huge problem because many of my clients needed to have those records for their taxes. Thus, I had to rebuild the files. Then I could work on the actual taxes.

In addition to working on all of the wonderful paperwork, I also worked on all the Valentine’s for my clients. It has been a very busy day indeed. The good thing I have to report, however, is that I believe that I am practically ready; only one or two small things left to do in order to complete this over-exaggerated task (and to think my degree from Western Michigan was in Accounting! I so much rather showing clients that With Age Comes Respect rather than how much I can save them funds being sent to the Federal Government!).
